FBA Product Research

 Don't get stuck in analysis paralysis.. 97% of Amazon sellers fail. They never make it past Product Research and ordering a product..

Choose a good market... Everything can potentially be a private label item to resell as your own brand.  

Use software such as Jungle Scout, Viral Launch, or AMZ Scout to find products..

Think out all the things that could go wrong with the product through every stage.

 Find items with high search volume with the potential to find a better product than is available.

It takes different levels of skills to enter different markets...
Barriers to enter a market are: 
# of reviews
# of sales
Total amount of capital required

Product Idea Score.....amazon.com

Do you have the resources to compete?

Can you match the amount of sales in the current market to get to on the first page to compete or take over a market?

Look the reviews.. Look at the pictures... Are the reviews low and worth competing against? Are the pictures of poor quality / is their room for creativity to provide a more desirable look to draw buyers?

Researching the product is key!

Find some way to add value to your product over you competitor...
Look at your competitors negative reviews with Helium 10 extension. extract them to a csv and read them..

See the positives and make a bundle..

Have someway to stick out in the main picture.

Haven an angle such as best one for cats or vegans for example..

Profit Per Unit..
Higher ROI (Return On Investment) will allow for faster success by multiplying into larger investment deals.  
 ROI is the most important.. The faster money is turned over, the less risk, and cash flow is free faster for reinvestment in inventory or different products. 
30% margin min.. Margin is less important than ROI..
