I lowered my price compare to all my competitors who are selling the
exact product. My supplier reached out to me telling to raise my price
up. If not his manufacturer will stop producing the product. Has anyone
experienced this before? Should I ignore him?
i
would follow your supplier more money for you keep the price as should
be if you lower it the value of your product will be down as well
I don't know if buyers will actually buy from me if I don't have much reviews and it is set for the same price.
Some
manufacturers have minimum advertised price (MAP) policies and its
possible your supplier is a distributor who doesn’t want to risk getting
in trouble with the manufacturer.
That said, for an
Amazon seller, it doesn’t matter to you and they should be aware of the
difficulty of actually enforcing these policies on online marketplaces.
